7.  Wendy’s food will now contain bio-tracking technology which will work up until it is flushed away.

8.  If you want to speak to the manager he is locked in his office.

9.  Wendy’s will display in their lobby a 10 most wanted customer line up and offer a combo meal of your choice for information.

Get out of MY country! May 30, 2007

Filed under: Centaurs, Darfur — atatude @ 11:40 am

centaur.jpg Click Pic to enlarge

Everybody wants their own country populated with their own ethnic, religious, nationalist, socialist or who knows what brand of self identity.  The Soviet Union split into Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.  Sunni’s and Shiite’s can’t live together in a free Iraq devoid of strong arm Saddam Hussein oppression.  Lebanon is a boiling cauldron of us versus them.  Ethnic cleansing rages on in Darfur.  The Kashmir, Taiwan, Tamil, Palestine and Kurdish issues still loom.  Even the Centaurians want their own country.

Where is the International leadership that should be confronting the separatist movement with strong rebukes and constructive suggestions?  The reality is that a nations leadership extends over a varied mix of people.  All those people, even small minorities, should have equal individual political power, economic opportunities, and personal freedoms.  That is the kind of message that a George Bush should be delivering at the United Nations.  The United States is not perfect, but its varied population is made up of people who feel they have the opportunity to be themselves and to achieve their dreams.  When the Sunni’s were in power in Iraq the Shiite’s did not have their fair share of political power and economic opportunities.  It is just that sort of corruption around the world we need to criticize.  This blog goes out to 2 maybe 3 people, so I have done my job.  Now it is time for our President to press the issue.  I am preaching to the choir but I don’t want our president to tell Americans what they already believe as he often does.  He needs to address the offending countries with politeand constructive advise and we need to be vigilant here at home.

Those crazy Muslims. May 29, 2007

It’s easy to sit back and blame the violence on a stereotype of Middle east Muslims as the cause.  The truth is always more complicated and multidimensional than our lazy brains care to deal with.  Would you like to read the view point from a different perspective?  There are a lot of blogs originating from the Middle East and I am attaching just one.  Her blog also has many links to other blogs.  A lot of people are trying very hard to create positive change under very oppressive conditions.  If there is one message I wish could cut through all the noise it is this -  “Political change and social justice should not be brought about through violence”.  That’s it, period.  Fighting should only be a last resort in order to defend yourself against violence.  The problem is that the people being attacked don’t react the way the attackers hope they will, they usually attack back and do the opposite of what the attack was trying to achieve.   For example, Israel will never be bombed out of the Middle East and the Palestinians will not be shelled into excepting the status quo.

I hope I am not the last person to know about this funny Website.  It is kind of like You Tube but all the videos seem to be comedy skits.  Some of them are really funny.  The Sin Trek video is a good one to send to all your non-believer friends and family to clue them in on the after rapture.

Inquiring minds pay to know. May 23, 2007

Filed under: business model, knowledge — atatude @ 8:48 am

homer-tabbed-browsing-zoomed.png

Would you pay to know what you need to know?  Who hasn’t found themselves wanting to know how to do something but found it difficult to get the information.  Searching the Internet for information can be frustrating because what comes up may not apply exactly and you need to ask a lot of questions.  There is always a person or company that is for hire that will do the job  for you for a price.  But a lot of people would rather do the job themselves to save money or for personal satisfaction, but just don’t have all the know how.  I wish a company existed that was staffed by experienced experts I could contact for a reasonable fee.  I would like to build a patio roof over my deck.  I wish I could just pay someone a hundred bucks to answer questions about construction details, building materials and the permit process.  If they had the experience they could probably answer all my questions in 15 minutes.  Retired people with lots of experience would be great at it.  They have the knowledge, want to share it and could make money by doing it.  Our life’s are ever more complicated so it would seem like a good business model considering we all have questions we would pay to have answered by a real human being.  It has often been said that knowledge is power, in this case knowledge is money.  Now if only goofy ideas were money, I would be rolling in it.

Myspace should break apart. May 22, 2007

Filed under: Myspace — atatude @ 5:59 am

gliter-trash.jpg

Yesterday Myspace agreed to cooperate with authorities trying to get child molesters off of their site.  It’s just my opinion but my overall impression of what’s on Myspace is trashy.  Too much soft porn, suggestive profile pictures, and sexed up glittery Disney characters, and that’s just from the thirteen year olds.  Just look at some of the crap above that is offered to slutty up and dumb down your Myspace page.  A lot of the stuff you see, and our kids see, is much worse.  There is a kind of pier pressure to at least appear provocative even if you are in fact a well mannered young woman or man offline.  Then of course there are the adults, and some really are in porn and it is right there to see.  Since Myspace is so popular and all your kids friends are on it, it’s hard to ban your child.  I think it’s time for Myspace to break apart into two parts, one for adults and people who what to display and convey adult messages, and a second Myspace for underage kids and no sexual images or language.  I would think that would make both groups happy.  It would make a lot of parents happy.

Paid to be naked, and fat, and hairy. May 21, 2007

Filed under: will Farrel — atatude @ 5:39 am

blog-1.jpg

Here is a shot from the Will Farrel movie “Stranger than fiction”.  I was enjoying the movie and along comes this scene where the actors walk through the men’s shower room.  It has nothing to do with the plot and it is there for one reason.  It is there for comedic shock value.  If you have seen the movie Borat than you like me, have been scared for life by one particular seen with a fat hairy guy that is absolutely the most shocking thing I have ever seen.  I wonder how the casting agent hired the guy above.

Agent:  Hey I have a very short part in a movie for you.

Guy:  Sure what is it?

Agent:  You would be an extra taking a shower in the locker room.

Guy:  (laughs) I have gained some weight and I am really hairy.

Agent: I know.

Guy: Oh, so the Mear sight of me naked is a big sight gag?

Agent: It pays good and you take showers anyway.

Guy: I would get a lot of jokes from everyone I know.

Agent: We will only shoot you from the back.

Guy: You pay by the pound?

Agent: How much you weigh?

Guy:  300 lbs.

Agent: OK, hows 4 bucks a pound sound.

Guy:  Fine, I am going to go eat my ass off, I mean on.

Agent:  Great and stay out of the sun if you can.

I sure am looking forward to the next hairy naked guy ambush in the next movie I see.

P.S.  If you are a fat hairy guy than please don’t send me any pictures in protest because I have nothing against you.  But if you are going to appear in a movie please let everyone know in advance, thanks.

Let them eat fat! May 18, 2007

Filed under: kobe steak — atatude @ 6:40 am

steaks_fresh.jpgbeef.jpg click to enlarge.

On the left is quality sirloin steak sold in the U.S. for about $10 a pound.  On the right is Kobe beef sold for about $250 a pound.  I know that a steak that is marbled with fat adds to taste but this is ridiculous.  The most expensive steak I have had was at Vic & Antony’s, an upscale Houston restaurant known for steaks.  The 10 oz. steak cost about 30 bucks and the side dishes were family style and sold separately.  The first bite was tender and juicy and much more laced with fat than I had ever had.  Half way through the steak the fatty flavor was getting to be too much.  By the time I finished it I was not enjoying it much and I was not stuffed.  If I ever go back there I may try and order a 6 or 8 oz steak.  I can only imagine what the Kobe fat slab laced with meat would taste like.  Plus I think it is just stupid to pay $250 for a uncooked steak regardless if you can afford it or not.  I have little respect for people who take consumption to obscene levels.  These guys that have big warehouses to store their 25 exotic cars each costing six, seven or eight figures each.  The yachts the size of small cruise ships with 50 phones and a year round crew of 20.  You get the picture.  Yes it is their money and maybe they do give money to charity, but I still think they are pathetic self absorbed idiots.  There are too many people in this world that have almost nothing, so it’s disgusting to see people waste resources like they are Marie Antoinette and King Louis XVI.

Mary Jane causing a stir alright! May 17, 2007

mary.jpg

Here is an amusing tempest in a tea pot.  A new collectible to educate feminist’s has been created which I hope sets some things straight.  Ladies when doing the laundry or anything that requires bending over, you should not bend your knees.  Barbie’s legs don’t have knee joints for a reason.  This my be a little difficult but there are bonus points if while you are bending over at the waist with locked knees you get up on your tippy toes.  This is not rocket science, that’s a man’s job.  On average your height and bust size should be larger than average while your weight should be below average.  Special food has been created for this purpose called rice cakes, use them.  Breasts should appear unnatural with respect to size, shape and position on your chest and should be in plain sight along with half your underwear.  Plastic surgeons are there to help you meet standards.  I can’t wait for the second edition Mary Jane statue which has her getting spidey a beer out of the fridge in a bikini and high heels.

Multivitamins may cause cancer. May 16, 2007

How sick am I of the endless parade of medical studies that tell us something is bad for us.  Than later a new study comes out that says just the opposite.  Now a study says multivitamins can lead to prostate cancer.  I have come to the conclusion that living leads to cancer.  I am going to sit in my dark little corner my precious and eat some tasty free range rabbit and don’t try and stop me.

Stop reading this now.  I am not writing a post on this blog today.  I am not required either by contract or any implied responsibility to record something on my blog everyday.  I could write about something, there is always something, but I am not going to do it.  Lets call it my own day of silence amidst the deafening roar.  My hits will take a hit, my track backs will not track, My Blog log will not log, I will not not feed the burner.  I will not even take the time to ponder my next entry, I will simply exist while the blogosphere lurches forward one day without me.  If you are still reading this than you do not take direction well and I really need you to stop and go away.  Are you there?  What the hell is the matter with you, I am not saying anything about anything.  There is nothing to think about or comment about.  Maybe you need a job or should get back to work at the one you have.  What part of “NO POST TODAY” don’t you understand?  This is not fair and you are not cooperating like a nice person would.  Most people have left by now, they get it.  Not you, you are stubborn and thoughtless and you don’t care about me.  It’s people like you that made me not write a post today.  OK, if you are still here you should be really embarrassed right now.

An elementary school staged a gunman attack in school telling the kids it was real.  This was supposed to be helpful to the kids so they could practice being in a state of terror.  Some parents were angry but I think it is a great idea.  The next big teacher conference this summer would be a great place to help teachers practice being terrified for their lives.  I would like to have some stunt women blown away with fake blood and loud explosions.  Then everyone can sit down calmly and talk about what a great leaning experience pissing in your pants really is.

Worlds first unwanted baby drop off box. May 11, 2007

Filed under: japan — atatude @ 6:53 am

Japan has the worlds first drop box for unwanted babies installed on side of hospital.  They sure love their technology over there.  I don’t make this stuff up, see link to story.  I love this idea and I want to see it expanded.  Here are some other drop boxes I would like to see.

1.  I would like to see a drop box for unwanted neighbors noisy dog.

2.  A drop box for those crude jerky guys that hit on women.

3.  A drop box for girlfriends, boyfriends etc. when it is just to much trouble to go through a long break up fight.

4.  A drop box for celebutaunts and their little dogs too.

5.  A drop box for child molesters that goes straight to hell.

6.  A drop box for all the toupee’s, fake boobs and plastic surgeons.

7.  A drop box for all the horrible kids menu nuggets and frozen pizzas.

8.  A drop box for mostly idiotic rap song lyrics.

9.  A drop box for all those stupid spinning hub caps.

10.  A drop box for men’s shorts that are really short pants

Todays stupid headline. May 10, 2007

Check out the second headline above.  “Giraffe doesn’t appreciate late-night visit from drunk students.”  The word Giraffe in this case must be the most interchangeable word in any sentence ever written.  They could have replaced the word Giraffe with - monkey, village, space alien, proctologist, nun, comatose contortionist or virtually any word representing any semi-intelligent life form in the universe.  The only thing I can think of that might not work is “Drunk student”
